I developed the Salsa Latin Dance Program (LDP) in 2008. My experience stems from over 18 years of professional classes, dancing, and training. I've been teaching, choreographing and performing for over 10 years. I've had the honor of working with some of the best Instructors in the world including Mr. Eddie Torres "The Mambo King", Seaon Bristal "Seaon Stylist", Alex Da Silva, Ismael Otero, Liz Lira, and Johnny Vasquez, just to name a few.

I believe that a good dance instructor exhibits and embraces life-long learning. That is why I have traveled throughout the United States and around the world researching Latin dance techniques (Salsa). I've visited Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and countless cities and states within the US. Networking with multiple instructors has helped me to develop a more diverse and versatile range of teaching strategies designed to benefit individual dancers and group performers.
I put a lot of love, thought, time and effort into the Salsa LDP and my students. My intention is to provide Sonoma County dancers with the best moves, technique and style. The LDP is designed to help each student raise their level of dance to new heights and to improve partner dance technique. It is my opinion that the understanding of the different Latin genres is pivotal to becoming a more versatile and well-rounded dancer. The LDP offers dancers the opportunity to learn in a safe, productive and enjoyable environment

The 2010 Salsa LDP is a 12-week series that teaches students four different dances: Bachata, Rumba, Tango & Salsa (ON-1). These are taught in order of complexity.

Jan. 19th thru April 10th, 2010 Tuesdays & Thursdays 7:35-9:35pm

LDP Mission:
The Salsa LDP is open to dancers of all levels, ages and backgrounds, and is especially beneficial to those at the beginning/intermediate level. Upon completion of the program dancers will have the opportunity to continue training on a month-to-month basis, with the potential of performing with the "Sangre Latina" dance company. The LDP is offered twice a year; we're working towards implementing a more sophisticated curriculum for the near future.
