José teaches dance in the Bay area and Sonoma
County. In 2002, he founded a teen Salsa
Troupe, Salsa Fresca that performed at the
New York and Los Angeles Salsa Congresses.
Salsa Fresca was voted "Best Dance Troupe in
Sonoma County" by The Bohemian, he also
started an adult dance company, Sangre
Latina, in 2004.

style to the San Francisco Bay Area, she has
trained world class dancers such as Junior &
Emily (ranked 2nd in the world).
Ava has won many Dance competitions,
including "The World's Largest Mambo Contest"
in The Bronx, NY in 1999, and "Alberto's Pro
Salsa Competition" in Mountain View , CA in
2000, both with former partner, Luis Rosa.
